Who This Trip Is For

This is your trip if:

You’re a Stage 4–5 surfer who loves lefts, or wants to work on them.
You missed out on the Mentawai trips, or couldn’t make the dates.
You’re interested in the Ments but you get seasick, or you just want a different option.

What Stage 4–5 looks like on this trip

You're a confident, capable surfer. You read waves well and you catch most of what you go for. You can adapt to changing conditions and position yourself in most lineups. Your surfing is less about catching waves now and more about maximizing them.

Lohis is a left that breaks out front and you have unlimited access to it. So if you're a regular footer, that's a week of backside on the same wave over and over. If you're goofy, it's a week of frontside. Either way, you're getting the reps on one side rather than a bit of everything.

Most of the group will be working on refining their turns and linking maneuvers together without losing speed, plus critical positioning and later take-offs on a wave you can surf again and again until something clicks.

The Surfing

The wave breaks directly in front of the resort and you have unlimited access to it all week. There's a strict surfer cap in place — a maximum of 45 surfers a day, and you have to be staying at the resort to surf it at all.

If you’re keen to surf more, twice-daily dhoni transfers with the resort's surf guides open up six other breaks, all within 30 minutes of the island: Cokes, Chickens, Ninjas, Honkeys, Jailbreaks and Sultans.

I'll be coaching you in and out of the water every day, and every one of your sessions gets filmed. We go through the video daily as a group, where I'll give you the detailed and honest surf coaching that makes Surferelle trips what they are — and you'll have the space to ask me as many questions as you want so you can feel good about what you're working on for the next session!

Where You'll Stay

Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi — you're in a twin-share Lohis Villa, with premium all-inclusive dining, snacks and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) for the whole week. Wi-Fi is included.

The island sits in the North Malé Atoll and is one of the most naturally stunning in the Maldives: palm-fringed jungle, white sandy beaches, and turquoise lagoons alive with coral reef and marine life.

Whether you're coming solo, as a couple, with a group of mates or bringing the family, there's something here for everyone — so this is also a great option if you want to come with someone who’s not surfing.
