The Ments set-up, but going right.

This has been a goal of ours for a while, and it's finally here. Private right-hand point breaks in Oaxaca, with me and Tim.

Six nights with eight women — and this one is only open to those who've been on a trip with me before. Daily coaching, daily video, and a professional video + photo package airdropped to you each evening. We have one of the best guides in the area, and this is definitely going to be one for the books.

Surf all day, get cooked by the sun, and push yourself.

One thing to know going in: the dates will land late. We're waiting on a decent looking run of swell rather than booking to a calendar, so I'll most likely be confirming exact dates one to two months out. You'll want to be able to book flights on short-ish notice.

Who This Trip Is For

This is your trip if:

You're a Stage 4–5 surfer who REALLY wants to push yourself.
You're a regular foot who's been on my Ments trips and wants to work on your frontside — or a goofy who wants to go backside.
You've been on a Surferelle trip before. This one is for returning clients only (this is up there as one of the highest level trips I offer).
You're confidently a Stage 4–5 surfer, able to duck dive and handle your board in overhead, powerful conditions.

What Stage 4–5 looks like on this trip

You're a confident, capable surfer. You read waves well, you pick the higher-quality ones, and you catch most of what you go for. You're refining technique at this point rather than learning it, and you're getting selective about what you'll paddle out for.

These are right-hand points, so you'll be going the same direction every time. If you're a regular footer, that's days of frontside on a point break. If you're goofy, days of backside. Either way, you're getting tons of good reps on one side instead of a bit of everything.

We'll be surfing waves with steeper sections and more critical take-offs, and maybe even barrels. Most of the group will be working on refining their turns and linking maneuvers together without losing speed, plus critical positioning and later take-offs on a wave that will keep giving you the same section to work with.

The Surfing

Private right-hand point breaks.

I've always wanted the same set-up as my Ments trips but going the other way, and we finally have it!!

We're timing the whole thing to swell rather than to a calendar, which is why the dates confirm late. We have one of the best guides in the area and a 4x4 to get us to the breaks.

I'll be coaching you in and out of the water every day, alongside Tim as well. All your waves will be filmed for video review and your sessions will be photographed too, with the content airdropped to you at the end of each day. We review clips daily as a group, where I'll give you the detailed and honest surf coaching that makes Surferelle trips what they are — and you'll have the space to ask me as many questions as you want so you can feel good about what you're working on for the next session!

There are canopies set up at the beach with fruit and water brought down to you, so we can actually stay out all day instead of running back and forth.

Where You'll Stay

A gated condominium residence — three condos between the group, ten beds in total, with wifi, AC and a pool.

There's a cooking service, so breakfast, lunch and dinner are made for you every day. You don't have to think about a single meal.

Getting There

Fly into Oaxaca International Airport (OAX), and airport transfers are organized from there.
